Are you on LinkedIn? We bet you probably have a personal profile, but if you aren’t looking for a new job, you probably haven’t logged on in a while.
LinkedIn is an easy social network to ignore, but you shouldn’t be. It is the largest professional networking website, and a huge lead generation tool for companies everywhere, as well as an awesome tool for recruitment and, of course, networking.
If you’re a B2B company and you AREN’T on LinkedIn, you need to create one ASAP. And we’re here to help you through it.
Luckily, creating a LinkedIn company page is simple!
First, you need to be logged into your personal LinkedIn profile. You need this to create a page!
Once you’re logged in, click on the “Work” icon in the top right corner of your LinkedIn homepage.
Next, choose the “Create a company page” option.
Choose the option based on what size your company is. You may notice there are two other options. We will be discussing showcase pages later!
Now, enter all the details about your business. That’s the company name, what you want your URL to be, a link to your website, your industry, company size, and company type. Lastly, make sure to upload a logo and come up with a tagline that describes what your business does!
Once your page is created, your work is not done. Make sure to upload a company banner, choose your community hashtags, customize a profile button, and get to posting!
