TikTok Stories are a great way to connect with your audience and give them a behind-the-scenes look at your brand. But how do you use them effectively? And what kind of content should you post on TikTok Stories?

What are TikTok Stories?

TikTok Stories are short, vertical videos that appear in a separate feed from the main TikTok feed. They disappear after 24 hours, similar to Snapchat and Instagram Stories. TikTok users can watch Stories without having to follow the person who posted them.

Here’s a quick guide to using TikTok Stories:

First, make sure you have the latest version of TikTok installed on your phone. Then, open the app and tap on the ‘+’ icon in the bottom-right corner. This will bring up the ‘Create a new story’ screen.

From here, you can either upload an existing photo or video from your camera roll, or you can record a new one. To upload an existing photo or video, just tap on the ‘Upload’ button and select the file you want to use. For new recordings, tap on the ‘Record’ button and start recording your video.

Once you’ve recorded or selected your photo/video, you can then add filters, effects, and text to it. TikTok offers a lot of creative options here, so have fun experimenting!

When you’re happy with your TikTok Story, tap on the ‘Share’ button in the bottom-left corner. This will bring up the sharing screen, where you can choose to share your story with just your followers, or with everyone on TikTok.

What should brands be posting on TikTok Stories?

Brands should use Stories to give their followers a behind-the-scenes look at the brand. This could include sneak peeks of new products, behind-the-scenes footage of photoshoots or events, and more. TikTok Stories is also a great place to show off your brand’s personality, so have fun with it!
