Whatever you’re tweeting about, Twitter is a place for conversations. Because the platform is full of creators, Twitter wanted to support them so that it continues to be a place for people to connect authentically. This year, they have introduced features to support creators such as Tip Jar and Ticketed Spaces.
And now, Twitter has introduced Super Follows, a new way for people to earn monthly revenue by sharing subscriber-only content with their followers on Twitter. With Super Follows, people can create and extra level of conversation on Twitter to interact with their followers while earning money.
Creators can set a monthly subscription of $2.99, $4.99, or $9.99 a month to monetize bonus content for their most engaged followers. And these followers get special access to their unfiltered thoughts, early previews, and subscriber-only conversations.
Creators can find and interact with their Super Followers by looking for the Super Followers badge. These public badges will be highlighted under their Super Followers name whenever they reply to a creator’s Tweet.
Since this feature is just getting started, only a small group within the U.S. can set up their Super Follows, but don’t worry! People can continue to apply to join the waitlist. To be eligible, you need to have at least 10,000 followers, be at least 18 years old, have tweeted 25 times within the last 30 days, be in the U.S., and follow Twitter’s Super Follows Policy.
